Get your retro groove on with this beginner’s macrame workshop. Macrame was huge in the 70s – but today’s macrame is far more modern (read: less gaudy).
In this workshop you’ll learn basic macrame knots and you’ll make a stylish plant hanger for your favorite leafy friend. Each person will learn how to tie basic macrame knots and how to create a structure to hold your favorite plant pot. You'll leave with a completed plant hanger, a 4" fishbowl style glass to hang in it, and a succulent to plant in it at home. You'll also get a handout with photos, so you can turn macrame into your new favorite hobby!
During the workshop, students that are at 21+ will get to sample wine from Meadowcroft Wines, which focuses on crafting limited production, vineyard designate wines. Sample a glass of wine during the workshop, then join your classmates afterward in Meadowcroft's Tasting Room, just steps away from the workshop location, for two-for-one tasting flights of their wines.
