Ever make a pizza mummy? How about a spooky spider deviled egg? Get ready, because you’re going to learn how!

Join Chef Hollie Greene as she playfully works a few extra veggies and deliciousness into your healthy-ish Halloween goodies! Recipes include: easy homemade pizza dough mummies on the grill, a ghoulish dip that's "cheesy" but without any cheese (it's a trick!) and sinfully rich chocolate mousse made with avocados and coconut cream – another dairy free trick…boo! You and your kids will have a ball watching, tasting, and helping decorate your own graveyard goodies, all in the spirit of Halloween fun.

 

On The Menu:

  • Homemade Pizza Mummies on the grill (demo)
  • Black Widow Spider Pimento Cheese Deviled Eggs (demo + samples)
  • Ghoulish Carrot Queso with Spooky Fingers (demo + samples)
  • Ghostly Graveyard Avocado Chocolate Mousse (demo + hands-on decoration per person)

Chef Hollie Bio

Chef Hollie Greene is passionate about bringing the joy of good food to the family table. She founded JoyFoodly®, a San Francisco mission based company, to help families joyfully get more fruits and vegetables into their families’ diets. The Joyful 12®, Chef Hollie’s Online Kitchen Learning Lab, helps parents explore and learn how to joyfully get twelve fruits and veggies into their families’ diets each season.

Chef Hollie is a graduate of the French Culinary Institute and has taught thousands of children in New York and California through her work with non-profit programs such as Wellness in the Schools and The Sylvia Center, partnering with Rachael Ray’s Yum-O!, Mayor Bloomberg, and as a Professional Expert for the State of California’s Healthy CA Kids Initiative. A passion project for Hollie is her work with the Novato Unified School District, where she is leading a team of Dietetic Interns in teaching Wellness in the Schools Cooking Labs in four elementary schools in partnership with the Food and Nutritional Services Department. 

Hollie serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for 18 Reasons and she teaches at Ramekins Culinary School in Sonoma and Young Urban Modern (YUM) Chefs in San Francisco. When she's not teaching, Hollie volunteers with national and Bay Area organizations including CUESA (Center for Urban Education About Sustainable Agriculture), Ceres Community Project, and A Little Yumminess.
